Morning Venus transit 6th June 2012 from Kuneticka hora, Czech republic. Used Canon 550D, MTO 10/1000. Detail view is through Dobsonian telescope (0.35 m, f5), where the dot of Venus changed into “waving” circle as the Sun rised up in the morning shimmering atmosphere. Last Venus transit had perfect conditions from Czech republic – just before sunrise clouds went away and after the phenomenon came cirrus clouds.
Last image is kind of unique. After finding out the datas from third camera are unuseful, I was very sad. But thanks to program Registax I saved the portrait of the end of transit including phenomena in solar photosphere. Used Canon 450D, Lunt LS60 THa, 10×1/128 s, ISO 100, Registax.
