Calm and storm

Sometimes you just wait for the perfect moment, which represents the nature of your soul. Well, this one is possibly the perfect, describing myself. Ostensibly calm, I still fight for something better, unique, memorable… At least to capture an image like this. Far storm passing away from the Sec reservoir produced a beautiful and powerful flash as the fisherman boat was hiding on the edge of the calm water, under the tree. It happened in the evening of 5th May 2015, just a few hours after sunset. Used Canon 6D Baader IR Mod, Samyang 15 mm, f3.5, 1×30 s, 640 ISO + 5×30 s, 250 ISO; tripod.

Even wilder opportunity came just a few days after, on 12th May 2015. A loud thunderstorms were crossing over the resevoir and produced absolutelly stunning and a bit scary-exciting experience. I hope this kind of view wasn’t the last one in this year. Used Canon 6D Baader IR Mod, Samyang 14 mm, f3.5-4.0, ISO 200-640, 13×30 s; tripod.
