On Monday, January 17th, the Full Moon occurred at 11:48 pm local Czech time. By folklore, this one is called “Wolf Moon” and it was also one of apogee Moon. Most interesting, however, was 8 minutes after, when just for a 1 second the silhouette of Internationa Space Station appeared in front of the Moon. I was truly lucky from Klokočov u Vítkovic village, where the sky cleared up just for this moment. ISS was angularly almost the largest possible from our country. A bit of risk with long travel, but it was worth it. Used Canon Ra, MTO 1100, f10.5, ISO 4000, exp. 1/4000s; details of craters enhanced by older data from telescopic Moon imaging.
