I was lucky man, when I could see this amazing phenomenon. Just the idea to watch total lunar eclipse on 10th December, 2011, from place of heat and sea nearby evocated excitement. I traveled with my czech friends Martin Popek and Marek Bruk to Pattaya, Thailand, where we decided to observe this lunar eclipse from the north beach of Ko Lan island named Tien. We had clear skies and almost empty beach (during outflow) for all watching. Used Canon 550D, Canon 300 mm, f4.5; Samyang 8 mm, f3.5 and Tamron 17-50 mm (f set on 4). It was the last total lunar eclipse in the world until March 2014.
