Brandberg moon-landscape in the moonlit
When I planned to go in Namibia a year ago, I had no idea that the country is so various. You can see the Atlantic ocean, seek the stars in the
Namib desert, stand on the largest found
iron meteorite, find a millions years old
petrified trunks, enjoy your time in
unique boulder nature reserve, meet the wild animals in
large reserve Etosha and so much more. To understand how much I was excited of this wonderful country, here is portrait of another item of Namibia’s top-places list. The waxing Moon is illuminating thrilling scenery of the
Brandberg, the highest mountain of Namibia. Between and the mountain, the valley is well known as “Elephant valley” due to often occurrence of elephant herds looking for a fresh water. In the massif of the mountain, you can also visit very popular ancient
White lady paintings. The image was taken on 21st September 2015 during the
Safra-Go.cz expedition in Namibia. Used Canon 6D IR Baader modified, Samyang 14 mm, f3.5, ISO 2000, single 30s exposure from tripod.
