The way a solar eclipse is…

And this is the way it is. Nature gets darker, all around silences and you are just engulfed by completely unknown face of the nature. You don’t know what to think, what to do, it just takes your breath away. The sun gets black, surounded by long motionless streamers of solar corona, looking like a spider’s net. Brighter stars and, of course, planets apear and all around over the horizon deep dusk colors make the atmosphere of the moment so memorable. This portrait of last total solar eclipse on the 21st August 2017 over Guernsey State Park, WY, USA shows it all in one as realistic as I remember it… The next total solar eclipse will occur on 2 July 2019 over Chile and Argentina, a hundred years after famous “Eddington’s eclipse” in 1919.. Used Canon 6D, 12mm (foreground, outer corona), Nikon 810, 400mm (eclipse, inner corona).
