Maximum of annual Perseid meteor shower of 2013. The fantastic view is captured from Ivan Dolac of Hvar, Croatia, where I was able to watch meteors every day without any clouds between 8th and 14th August. A mountains on the horizon are the highest ones of the island – Hum, Česminova and Sv. Nikola. Every night I tried to capture as much as possible meteors from the Perseids to have the data for mathematical post-processing including the calibration of the images (darkframes applied), averaging thy sky image to avoid the noise, geometric correction of the singular images of the meteors to the main sky image and stacking together. Approximately 40 hours of work finally gave me this amazing result. You can see 67 meteors, the Milky way, zodiacal bridge and Gegenshein. Also lot of interstellar dust or another galaxies – M31 in Andromeda and M33 in Triangle. Thanks to the no disturbance by the moonlight I had practically ideal conditions. Used Canon 6D, Canon 15 mm/f2.8@4,5; 64×60 s + 79×30 s, ISO 10000; Hvar, Croatia; 8th – 14th August 2013.
